Told more or less in reverse chronological order, High Tide is a  psychological mystery about Ieva, her dead lover, her imprisoned  husband, and the way their youthful decisions dramatically impacted the rest of their lives. One of Latvia’s most notable young writers, Abele is a fresh voice in European fiction.

Hopefully you’ll take the opportunity to read this book, by an author who sounds promising, but, like last month’s Australian author, is probably not familiar to you…and that’s what’s nice about our  international book discussion group!

Cost for Members: Free!
Cost for Guests: 5 euro p.p.
